Carla Louw has established herself as one of South  Africa's portraiture artists with an extraordinary ability to  successfully balance the emotional with the formal arrangement.

Over the past 15 years she has exhibited and sold her  intimate and personal works of art in South Africa and  internationally to collectors in the United States, Belgium,  England and Dubai.

Her first works featuring flowers and landscapes, along with  her 'African' series and 'Emotion'  series, established her as  a truly inspirational artist.

After being introduced to the work of famous portrait  photographers, Carla travelled to the Middle East and  North Africa where she studied the cultures, traditions and  religions of these regions. Visions is her latest series of  portraits, inspired by music and her research.
